On day 11, Eliseo Medina ended his water-only fast symbolically by sharing bread with striking workers after Rev. Frank Corbishley broke the bread.

Today at 8:30 a.m Pablo Rodriguez, 31, awoke feeling weak. He then began to shake. His blood pressure dropped to dangerous levels . An ambulance was called and he was taken to Doctors hospital.

University of Miami Hunger Strike Update: Saturday, April 8 Day Four
This afternoon, we found it necessary to ask for emergency medical assistance for Isabel Montalvo, 52. A janitor at the University of Miami in the physical plant, Isabel Montalvo began a hunger fast four days ago to protest the continued civil rights abuses committed by UNICCO.
